The Collective | Collective is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary design studio located in Brooklyn, NY. The research and design studio, Co-Founded by Design Director, Meg Kalinowski, AIA* is conceived as a multi-faceted practice, we collaborate on public and private: spanning from Large-Scale, Urban Research + Community Engagement projects to Human-Scale Architectural projects to even the smallest Micro-Ecological investigations.

Across different project typologies, we have created The Collective | Collective as a space that explores design with the living + built environments and as empathetic participants, we strive to connect research, discourse and design explorations to challenges large and small.

Our internal team ‘Collective’ learns and adapts with every new external ‘Collective’ engagement; and with all of the incredible project stakeholders. Together we build The Collective | Collective, an ever-changing and ever-responsive design-based group of problem solvers.
